Celebrities, Designer Dresses and Latest On Style Look

Oscar, Golden Globes and It’s Influence on Our Style Look.

With the 2009 award shows such as the Oscars approaching and the Golden Globes just passing by, we wonder how the likes of Angelina Jolie,  Cate Blanchett and many others stars who we like, manage to look stunning every time.
The 66th annual Golden Globes this year was absolutely Glam, Chic, and definitely The most Classy one.  Women of any age were after simplicity, elegance and class.  Take a look at best supporting actress winner for “The Reader” Kate Winslet, in Yves Saint Laurent and Chopard, Penelope Cruz in Giorgio Armani Prive and Chopard, Anne Hathaway in Giorgio Armani Prive and Van Cleef & Arpels.  The list would never end…
Every show commands a different style look, and every look is on full display for the critics to dissect.  It’s enough to make the average person crawl in a hole if put in the same position, while the star needs superhero powers to make it through – or at least a team of the best in the business.
You might think that if you had a crew to look after yourself, you’d look like a million dollar as well.  Imagine if you needed to present an award at the Oscars, how would you want to look?  Knowing that your stylist would have your best interest at hand, she would need to head to your favorite designer’s studio to pick the most dazzling looks.   While the jobs of Rachel Zoe and other stylists to the stars are surely stressful this time of year, it must be a dream come true to be the first to view some of these collections.  Being a fashion insider like Zoe would be as inspiring as it is amazing.
It would be hard to choose the one outfit, but I know that sometimes three or more are set aside for the star to decide on, sometimes waiting up to the day of the event.  Of course, fit is taken into consideration, and each piece will be ready, regardless if it is worn.  There is sanctity in knowing that no one else will show up with the same dress.  The jewels, the shoes, the handbag are all precisely chosen, ready to go.

On the day of the event, the assembled team will be ready to powder the star into precise form.  She has most likely been buffed, waxed, and shined to perfection; her limbs bronzed the right shade to show off the lines of her sculpted body.  All of this would be nothing without the perfect  designer gown.   The hair and makeup are faultless, and someone from the team will keep watch as she makes her way down the red carpet.
Who can forget the incredible vintage Valentino that Julia Roberts wore in 2001 to accept her Oscar?  It was Valentino again on Cate Blanchett in pale yellow and burgundy when she accepted her Oscar in 2005.   Or anytime Renee Zelleweger showed up in Carolina Herrera – it was perfection each time.  These women know the power they hold over fashion during the awards season, and the designers cater to them, know that millions of women become spellbound.  It doesn’t matter if the piece comes from the latest collection or is vintage, the fashion has the authority to influence and create sales for designers everywhere.  Each award show televised creates a fashion buzz for women everywhere.

This year, some of the style predictions are for lots of color in the dresses.  The styles themselves will be simple, but played up by dazzling diamonds and statement jewels.   The jewelry will not be of the costume variety, but of fine, unusual stones and unique mountings.  The shoes will be the showstoppers, combining elite materials with towering heels – we will see feathers, ruffles, fringes, and sparkling embellishments.

Fashion designers everywhere use the influence of celebrities and their style to create sometimes one-of-a kind pieces.  A Miami based designer label Natasha Leratti, is known for their unique and elegant sense for evening wear.  Regardless if you are a movie star or a women who wants to be In Style and luxe, your best choice –  is to visit Leratti’s Design Studio.  Anything from a cocktail dress to an evening gown can be done exclusively for your and reflect your personality.  With our professional experience and fashion know-how, we will take you from the simple to the extraordinary to ensure that your night is as perfect as one of the movie stars.

 My Best Regards,

 Your Fashion Designer and Guru,

fashion design classes

Beauty is the distinguishing and primary characteristic of women. Women are more conscious about their looks than anyone else, hence they give a lot of heed to their clothes and other embellishments, which contribute to their glamor. Fashionable and designer scarves are one of the most popular and cherished clothing items among the women. Scarves are really evergreen clothing items, especially when we are talking about the women clothing. This wonderful apparel plays a vital role in considerably accentuating the feminine beauty.

Designer women’s scarves, as we have said, have been an evergreen women apparel for long, they are getting even more acclamation these days. Today, the markets are full of beautiful and elegant scarves, available in numerous designs, sizes, shapes, fabrics, prints, and embellishments. This extensively large range of fashionable scarves can be categorized as below:

1) Scarves by Material: Scarves are usually fabricated from multiple fabrics to suit diverse requirements and needs. Silk, pashmina, cashmere, wool, velvet, cotton, satin, chiffon, rayon, nylon, and polyester constitute the primary varieties of such scarves. All these types come under this category. Each of these scarves provides a different feel from the other, depending upon the type of fabric or fabrics from which it is made.

2) Scarves by Usage: This category is one of the significant categories. Under this particular class, fall the scarves like head, tying, football, hair, winter, beach, turban, neck, hip scarves, and so. It is fairly apparent from the above names that which type of scarf is intended for what use. For instance, head scarves are meant for wearing on the head; winter scarves are suitable for winter season, and so.

3) Scarves by Patterns: Patterned scarves are demanded the most, the world over; in fact, patterns of various types inject life into the otherwise dull scarves. This reason alone is enough to make this category stand out from the others. The much favored patterns in women’s scarves include paisley, floral, animal, geometric, and abstract print

4) Scarves by Type: Last but not least, scarves by type is one of the basic categories, particularly in case of women apparel. As the name suggests, this category consists of the scarves, which are pretty different in their nature. The key scarves in this class include knitted, vintage, handwoven, hand-printed, embroidered, handmade, and machine printed; each having its own distinguishing characteristics.

The above four categories have provided a glimpse of the vast range of ladies scarves or mufflers from which the markets are almost flooding these days. These ladies mufflers are, and will continue to charm the women of all ages. Women’s scarves are beyond doubt not mere any ordinary women apparel item, but one of the most consequential factors in making them look more beautiful. Schools Of Game Design: What To Look For In A Game Design Program

fashion design program

The last 20 years or so have been huge for home video gaming. You can do almost anything in a video game these days, from racing in a Grand Prix to cooking breakfast. And because you’ve grown up playing them, and video game design is such a hot market right now, you might be looking into how you can get into the field and help to create some of the most entertaining video games around.

Lucky for you, there are a number of schools that offer courses in video game design. And the number of traditional schools offering video game design programs is growing every year. It’s a hot market and it takes more than just a computer science degree anymore to get into it. While you can always look into 3D design and computer programming at any major university, there are some schools that you’ll be able to find almost anywhere that offer specific courses in video game design.

Devry is a school that most have probably heard of and might at first shun because of its mass marketed approach to schooling. But with its video game design program, Devry offers specific, targeted courses that prepare the potential video game designer for exactly what they’ll be working on.

You’ll take courses in game specific math and physics, computer animation, and design mechanics that are all focused directly to video game related topics. The result is a school that doesn’t just teach you about 3D animation, but about 3D animation in video games. Devry will be comparable to a major university in cost though, operating independently as they do, nearly $14,000 a year for full tuition.

The Art Institute is a nationwide network of schools that offers everything from fashion design to cooking. But as the fastest growing art related field, computer animation and specifically video game design have made the Art Institute one of the best schools to get a degree in the art of video games.

Not only do they offer an online school, which includes separate programs in Animation Programming and a Game Art and Design Program, there’s also the option of extending your schooling and receiving a Bachelor’s degree, something many of the technical colleges don’t offer. Tuition for the Art Institute, if you attend a physical branch is fairly high, comparable to out of state tuition at a major university. The online school is a cheaper option but will still cost you about $1200 per course.

ITT Technical Institute is another one of those very commonly heard names that pops up constantly on the TV, and one that offers a video game design specific program that will prepare you for entry level work in less than 3 years. ITT has 85 locations, so it’s easy to find, but you’ll be paying full tuition like many of the other private institutes listed, comparable to out of state tuition in most states.

For those that complete a two-year course in video game design, it’s possible to come out of school and immediately find a job making video games. And for those getting a four year degree, it’s almost guaranteed you’ll land an entry-level job designing the games of tomorrow. The video game design market is hotter than ever right now, and it’s becoming easier and easier to get in at the ground floor.

BONUS TIP: If you’d like to get your foot in the game industry door, why not start as a video game tester? For more information, grab your FREE REPORT right now at: http://www.BeAGameTester.com
